1% for the Planet
In line with our environmental commitment, we are proud to be a certified 1% for the Planet partner.
Each year, we will donate 1% of our gross revenue to one of their vetted environmental partners, starting in 2023, aiming at having a positive change across communities, especially those most affected by environmental disasters.
Significa's 1% may be small. We know we're a droplet in the ocean, but in unity with thousands of businesses and environmental NGOs, we are part of a much larger force for planetary good, where together, we can have a much bigger impact.
Why 1% for the Planet?
Well, firstly, because if there's no planet, there will be no people. And we really care for our people.
Then, because 1% for the Planet connects thousands of businesses and environmental organisations in a unified effort to support both people and the planet. And that's something noble we're aligned with.
Also, because we identify with their quite straightforward principle: since companies profit from the earth's resources, it's only fair they help protect them as well.
Furthermore, joining 1% for the Planet offers Significa expert guidance in environmental contributions, trusted credibility, and ensures we're accountable for our commitments.

Our environmental partners
After consulting with our team on what matters most to them, in 2023 we chose to partner with Smart Shelter Foundation (SSF) for their commitment to sustainable urban environments. Our shared values of knowledge sharing and uncompromising quality made SSF an ideal match for us. Our partnership with SSF goes beyond financial donation, throughout 2024 and into '25, we've been working with them to deliver a website that shares their important work with the impact it deserves.
