At Significa, we embrace a holistic approach to design. We don’t categorise ourselves as UI Designers, UX Designers, Service Designers, Product Designers, or Motion Designers. Instead, we are all simply Designers — fully integrated in our practice.

What sets us apart is our passion for emotionally-driven products. We know that a moment of emotion can significantly shape a user’s perception of a product. Our goal is to pair strong, emotional driven details with exceptional design, elevating product potential. This is Why we design.

Being design-led

Design at Significa is at the heart of everything we do, design leads us. It’s how we solve problems and drive product development, everyone at Significa is a designer, even if you are the Designer.

That’s because design seamlessly combines our business goals, product requirements, user needs, strategy, technology and aesthetics - it’s all of our responsibility to produce outstanding design, it doesn’t start and end with the Designer, but on all of us as designers. Our mission goes beyond creating visually appealing products; we must always focus on crafting emotionally resonant experiences that captivate users.

The Significa Designer

A Designer at Significa is more than someone who makes things look good — they’re lateral thinkers who deeply consider context, anticipate consequences, prioritise usability, and understand that true elegance goes beyond surface aesthetics.

You work through a flexible, non-linear process, choosing the phases that best match the project’s unique expectations and challenges. With freedom to make strategic decisions, as in Maximum freedom, maximum responsibility, you take full responsibility for the path forward, ensuring that your energy is spent on what truly matters to elevate the product. Knowing where that energy, time and resource is spent is a critical part of How we design.

Quality is your top priority; you focus on solutions that add real value, each time raising the bar just a little higher. A Designer here is someone who questions everything. It’s how you keep improving. We believe this curiosity is key to keeping our standards high. You invite collaboration and input from others and always challenge the status quo, you’re bought in to our Design principles.

We lean on each other, supporting and sharing challenges, concepts, approaches and great ideas. We actively contribute within the design community and realise the source for inspiration can come from embracing the wider community.
