All-hands

Once a month, the whole team gets together for an hour. No client work, no Slack, just us. It's a chance to see what's happening across the studio, celebrate what's going well, and actually talk to the people you spend most of your week with.

We hold it on the first Friday of each month at 4pm, on-site. If a national holiday gets in the way, we move it to the Thursday before.

How it works

Leadership kicks things off with a brief company update, then the floor is open.

Agency life means everyone is heads-down in their own projects most of the time. It's surprisingly easy to miss the interesting work happening a few desks away. All-Hands is where that changes. Occasionally, if someone's working on something we think the wider team would genuinely learn from, we might ask them to share it. Nothing formal, no deck required. Just a conversation about what they've been doing and what's worth taking away from it.

We close with kudos. Who made your month better? Who did something quietly excellent that deserves to be said out loud? These are nice moments of recognition and an awesome way to end the week.

Oh, and then we share a beer and welcome in the weekend.
