We're looking for a senior product designer who connects design decisions to business outcomes. If you measure success in conversion rates, user retention, and revenue impact beyond pixels, this role is for you.
At Significa, we partner with clients to solve complex business challenges through design. We need a senior designer who can translate business objectives into design solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
Is this your first time hearing about Significa? Get to know us through our Playbook!
We need someone who leads with curiosity, asking "why" before "how," challenges assumptions with data, and designs interfaces that are as effective as they are beautiful, and last but not least: excited to contribute to our Culture.
You'll work directly with clients to understand their challenges, define success metrics, and design solutions that respond to users’ needs. You'll need to articulate how your design decisions impact client KPIs, be able to defend your approach with research and data, and iterate based on real-world performance.
We move fast. You’ll need to make smart decisions quickly, using AI and modern tools strategically to focus on what matters: creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.
As a senior, we need you at the office most days. There’s flexibility, but remote work isn’t an option for this role. Please note we can’t support visa applications.
Proven business impact: Your portfolio should tell stories of measurable outcomes: conversion rates that improved, user retention that increased, support costs that decreased;
Senior-level product design expertise: Proven track record of delivering impactful UI/UX for digital products. Please note: this role requires senior-level proficiency in product design specifically, so if you're coming from graphic design or are early in your career, this particular role isn't the right fit;
Strategic thinking: Experience conducting user research, analysing data, and translating business requirements into design solutions;
Velocity with quality: Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining high standards, making confident decisions under pressure, and adapting gracefully when priorities shift;
Product design expertise: Deep understanding of the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through to post-launch optimisation;
Innovative mindset: Proactive about adopting emerging tools with a focus on AI to automate routine work, creating more time for what matters most;
Collaborative spirit: Natural ability to elevate everyone around you through generous collaboration, thoughtful feedback, and knowledge sharing;
Open to feedback: You take critique about the work without taking it personally. You give feedback just as readily, and there's no ego in the way;
Figma mastery: Expert-level proficiency, including Design Systems architecture and component libraries;
Design Systems savyyness: Experience building, scaling, and governing Design Systems for complex products;
Technical understanding: Solid grasp of frontend development constraints and possibilities. HTML/CSS/JavaScript knowledge is strongly preferred;
Client partnership: Comfortable presenting directly to stakeholders, explaining decisions with data and logic, and navigating different priorities with diplomacy;
Mentor at heart: Genuine interest in helping junior designers grow;
Fluency in English: Essential for clear communication with our clients and team.
Portfolios focussed primarily on graphic design or branding work;
Lack of demonstrated business or product thinking;
Inability to articulate the "why" behind design decisions;
No experience with data-driven design iteration;
Designers who need extensive process or can't work autonomously at pace.
Drive strategic design decisions: Engage in discovery workshops, analyse user data, and define success metrics before designing solutions;
Work smart, work fast: Use AI and automation strategically to handle routine tasks (asset generation, documentation, routine iterations) so you can invest your time in creative problem-solving and strategic thinking;
Own end-to-end delivery: From initial research and strategy through to post-launch measurement and iteration;
Prove your impact: Track and communicate how your designs perform against business objectives;
Elevate the team: Raise the bar for everyone around you by sharing insights, introducing innovative approaches, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement;
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Developers to ensure technical feasibility whilst pushing for optimal user experiences;
Present to clients: Articulate design rationale using business logic, user research, and data, beyond aesthetic preferences;
Balance constraints: Make intelligent trade-offs between user needs, business goals, technical limitations, and timeline/budget realities in fast-moving environments;
Mentor actively: Develop junior designers through thoughtful feedback, pairing sessions, and leading by example;
Think systematically: Consider scalability, consistency, and long-term product evolution in every decision;
Stay ahead of the curve: Experiment with new tools, techniques, and approaches that could improve our work or unlock new possibilities.
Salary: €30,000 – €44,999 (aligned with Level 4 & Level 5 in our Policy on Pay). Placement within this range reflects demonstrated impact, capability and seniority. We're open to exceeding it for exceptional senior candidates.
Meaningful work: Partner with clients on challenging problems where design drives real business value;
Your voice matters: As a design-led certified B Corp your strategic input shapes both client work and our company direction;
Collaborative environment: Work alongside Designers and Developers who value data, iteration, innovation, and continuous improvement;
Room to innovate: Freedom to experiment with new tools and approaches that make our work better and smarter;

We don't approve of the Godfather's unorthodox methods, but we do have some pretty cool things to offer.
Before submitting your application, we highly recommend checking out our Recruitment Process and Hiring Criteria. They'll give you a clear idea of what to expect.
A portfolio with case studies that demonstrate business impact and strategic thinking (beyond visual outcomes);
Brief explanations of the problems you solved, your approach, and measurable results;
Examples of how you've worked at pace or used innovative approaches to improve efficiency.
We're excited to meet designers who understand that exceptional UI/UX is measured in business results, and who know how to work smart so they can spend their time on what really matters: solving complex problems creatively.

We don't hire, privilege, promote, favour, give pay raises, or allocate people to projects based on anything else other than merit.
