The Role

A Senior Front-End Developer Developer is expected to be an experienced folk. Somebody who's been coding exemplary Interfaces, putting together good code, quite consistently, for a few years. It is expected to be an individual who can guide less experienced team members and cope with a fast-moving start-up mindset like ours.

As a Design-led company, all our Front-End Developers to this point are Designers too. Even though we don't think this should be a must, we'll prefer those applicants who noticeably have an eye for detail and care about good design.

Job requirements and responsibilities

  • At least four (4) years of experience in Front-End Development;
  • Excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript Developer;
  • Outstanding ReactJS Developer;
  • Comfortable with ReactNative;
  • Full-stack knowledge at least with NodeJS;
  • Contribute to the creation of Frameworks for internal use and public availability;
  • Be able to understand and test established architectures patterns or experiments with new concepts;
  • Have the ability and be proactive in the search, experimentation and application of new architectures that are constantly popping up in the developer community;
  • Be capable of creating architectures that fit the needs of a given project and is extendable through the normal evolution of it;
  • Dominate version-controlling technologies, such as Git;
  • Be at a professional level of DevOps (AWS certified solutions architect / DevOps Engineer);
  • Be able to deploy cross-platform products;
  • Author Open Source materials to GitHub community;
  • Be a champion on creating all-around thought Component-Based Libraries;
  • Translate mock-ups into fully functioning websites and complex products;
  • Write modular and well-tested Front-End code;
  • Be a participant in our open-minded, multi-cultural and collaborative culture.
  • Be able to provide technical guidance to less experienced developers;
  • Thirsty to continuously learn and develop new skills;
  • Fluent English communication skills are mandatory, both written and spoken;
  • Being a Designer is a massive plus.
